Lars Friberg, Intern
(Health, Johannesburg Logistics)

Born in 1974 Lars was raised in Hudiksvall, Northern Sweden. He graduated from Uppsala University with a Pol.Mag. in Political Science. After working for Swedish Ecodemics, an umbrella organization for academia involved in sustainable development issues and at the Center for Environmental and Development Studies - Uppsala University Lars enrolled in the M.A. program at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Relations in Bologna, Italy. Lars will continue to Washington DC for the second year at SAIS after the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg.

On the IC team, he is working with Gordon Baker on Health, in particular the Nutrition Action Plan. He is also responsible for a number of logistical issues towards the event in Johannesburg.
