Born
in Nairobi, Kenya in 1976, Jinal moved to the UK in 1990 and is currently
completing his MA in Environment, Politics and Development at School of Oriental
and African Studies, London. He has a degree in Applied Environmental Science
from Kings College, London. His work experience at Survival International
included producing a fundraising CD that sold tens of thousands of copies (www.survival-international.org)
and he has worked with UNEP’s Division for Environmental Policy Implementation
(biodiversity) and UNDP small grants (renewable energy).
On
the IC Team, he is working with Gordon Baker on Health,
in particular the Malaria Action Plan. He is also responsible for the IC
Feedback Questionnaire at the event and its analysis, which he is incorporating
into his Masters thesis.
