Vision

To build capacity for sustainable agriculture, through the provision of appropriate agricultural information via the web-based educational programme agLe@rn.

 

Goals

To expand agLe@rn in order to

Broaden and enrich AgLearn’s content, through the incorporation of locally specific, regional information and knowledge module content

Engage more partners

Encompass wider geographic outreach, especially to facilitate the expansion of AgLearn within Africa – to enhance the region’s e-learning potential

 

Proposed outputs

(beyond those already proposed in the partnership’s original Type 2 submission – see WSSD List of Type 2 partnerships for further details)

Review and strengthen the learning process’ effectiveness and impact

Enhance networking and visibility

Increase robustness of the learning process

Deepen knowledge on needs and collaboration opportunities

Develop an increasingly interactive impact monitoring and evaluation action plan to improve feedback and validation of course content and approach

Wider availability of scholarships funds

Broaden AgLearns information / educational outreach to farmers

Ascertain further commitment to partnerships
