Where can I get media accreditation?

Media accreditation for the WSSD at Sandton Convention Center is obtainable from the WSSD Secretariat. Information on this is available from the Media Page of the official website.

What media facilities will be available?

A fully staffed and equipped Media Center will be open to journalists at the Sandton Convention Center, including connections for high-speed Internet access and laptop computers, telephones, fax machines, ISDN lines and facilities for satellite transmission.

There will also be a fully equipped media centre at the Global People’s Forum.

Have special accommodation arrangements been made for media representatives?

The media delegates are expected to be accommodated in 5 dedicated media hotels close to the Sandton Convention Center. Responsibility for this is down to Global Conference DMC and arrangements can be made via their website. Enquiries should be directed to their media focus point:
